Literally thought to myself today "What sorcery is this?"
I brought Weeping Lilac out with me today, and it just looks really good as a lip color, blush, AND shadow.
Reason I'm surprised is I fell in love with Hornet at-first-swipe. I tested both Hornet and Weeping Lilac under bathroom lights, and I figured Weeping Lilac was nice, but too pale or invisible for my medium-tan cool-toned summer skin (Merit Beauty shade: Buff).
I wore it out today and saw it under actual natural light, and it made me seem put together without looking like I had anything on. Plus, I was always envious of how fairer-skinned people could pull off sheer rosy or flushed eyeshadow (which was never visible or looked good on me), but apparently....Weeping Lilac does that for me.
Hornet, I just loved from the start. It's moody, but sheer.
I love both of them too much, I'll definitely reorder.

The formula is gorgeous as are the shades. They last all day on me and don’t budge. You can put them under powder or over and they work beautifully.

I love the dewy moisture in Color Nectar Pigment Balms.
Very glad I got this duo. Love them both on the lips and as an added bit of moisture when needed. I have yet to try them beyond lips as I have been away, but look forward to experimenting with eyes & cheeks too!

SO GLAD RdF re-released these shades - I've got just a sliver left of both my original Weeping Lilac and Hornet! Hornet is the best grungy sheer brown that wears So Well tapped out on the lids and lips, and Weeping Lilac is the true cool desaturated pink I didn't know I needed until I got it in the most workable formula ever! They both pair great with Water Violet too, which I love :)
