A Sanguine Scarlet Red Eyeliner

Capture the gaze of the eternal beloved. Bringing together shadowy night and delirious day, Blood is a decadent, powerful, and romantic red eyeliner shade inspired by the visceral allure of a fresh bite.

To create this true sanguine scarlet, we carefully blended pigments to compose a rich, nuanced hue that makes all eye colors brilliantly pop. It is impactful, unexpected, and an utterly beautiful way to transform any eye look.

The Black Orb Eyeliner Formula

The Black Orb Enigmatic Kohl Eyeliner offers the rich, intense pigmentation of a traditional pencil eyeliner, but with far greater flexibility in application. Designed for truly transformative eye looks, this beloved cream formula allows for seamless blending, bold lines, and decadent shadow.

How to Wear

  • For a striking, bold line: Use an angled eyeliner brush to pick up the scarlet pigment and trace sharply along the lash line, or pull outward to create a graphic, bloody wing.
  • For a romantic, smoky effect: Apply the color to the lash line and use a dense smudge brush or your fingertips to soften the edges, creating a diffused, lived-in halo of red.

    Maybe I need more skill

Love the color and the popularity of the item it is its own thing however I found this difficult to use. I felt like you have to work rather hard to have a smooth look of sharp eyeliner makeup. I don’t know if mine was defective but product seemed stiff and not buttery like I was hoping. Also didn’t stay put once applied

Thank you for taking the time to write your review! The Black Orb Enigmatic Kohl Eyeliner features a crème formula rather than a gel base. Because of this, depending on the specific pigment, each shade has a unique density and texture in the orb.

For the smoothest application, specifically Blood, we recommend gently scraping a tiny amount of product out with a spatula or the back of a brush handle and transferring it to the back of your hand. Your natural body heat will quickly warm up the pigment, making it noticeably soft, smooth, and easy to pick up. For sharp precision, we suggest using a dense, firm angled brush—rather than a flexible brush, which works better for liquids and gel formulas—and setting the final look with a light dust of translucent powder to lock it into place.

A little bit truly goes a long way with this formula, and because it is a rich crème, it won't dry out in the orb over time. However, if you feel your item is defective or isn't performing as expected, please reach out to us at contact@ritueldefille.sbs so our customer service team can assist you!

    Different from my other two

I have the grey and the other darker red (iron) which i love. When this one came up as a limited release I had to grab it, as I’m a sucker for a blood red eye look. The formula just does not sit well with my eyes (the other two colors I have are great). After trying the blood red twice now, both times I’ve had my eyes get swollen/gunky (sorry that’s gross, but true).

Still give it three stars, as the color and packaging are amazing, however the formula is probably not great for people with sensitive eyes.

    Beautiful

This formula is so good. I usually use it as an eyeliner, and it stays really well but is still smudgeable when you first put it on. I absolutely love a red liner (I have hazel eyes and it makes them look more green) and this is a perfect color for daily wear.

    Blood

Lovely red, matte and long lasting in formula. It does set but has some playing time.

    Great blood red liner/shadow

I bought this on a whim and it’s great! The liner is pigmented and is a bright red color, when mixed with some black eyeshadow it takes on a more rust color. Great stuff!

The color I wanted but it couldn't stay put

Blood was the color I've always wanted for an eyeliner but no matter what primer or setting powder I used, it kept migrating. If I used less product, it wouldn't be representative of the color seen on the website. My lids are oily so would recommend for someone with more normal/drier skin.
